Kendall Willems (Cygan)
Background: Kendall’s passion for helping others and working with children and families comes from being a part of a large family and understanding the importance of support and community. Kendall is originally from the United States and moved to the Netherlands in July 2017. Her business grew there and her knowledge continued as she slowly stopped working clinically in June 2021 to pursue research in the world of special education. After moving back to the U.S., her consultation business started to continue helping families from all around the world.
Kendall strives to provide the best care for each individual that she works with and believes that all of the care should come from the same place. She takes an overall growth approach and seeks to utilize the individual’s strengths to their advantage.
In addition to being an academic tutor for more than ten years, Kendall has worked with children with special needs (for 5+ years) – specifically those on the autism spectrum and with various behavioral problems. She has specialties in using positive interventions as well as antecedent interventions and creating alternative behaviors. Thus, she has a diverse experience working with several different disabilities and gaining more knowledge as she goes.
