What can I expect from ABA sessions with my child?
Sessions will be conducted with a trained behavioral analyst. The sessions will track your child’s progress through an online system.

What skills are covered and taught in the sessions?
The variety and level of skills taught in the sessions are determined from the assessment. In the treatment plan, the skills will be outlined in programs for the child and taught by the therapist in session. The skills are seen as building blocks to achieve long-term goals.
Typically, intellectual skills are being taught with cognitive strategies in a format that is best suited to the individual. An example of the skills that are most often covered are: cooperation, visual performance, receptive language, vocal and motor imitation, requesting, labeling, social interaction, academics, and group instruction.
What is a treatment plan and is it needed for the sessions?
The treatment plan will be created in the beginning together with the parents. It will provide recommendations for the child. This also includes the assessment. The assessment will be conducted every 6-9 months and then the treatment plan will be re-evaluated and updated accordingly.
